Mr. Draven Trey Shumans

Mr. Draven Trey Shumans, age 25, of Mount Vernon, died Friday night, August 21, 2020, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, from injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. Draven was a native of Jeff Davis County and had lived the last four years in Lake Charles working as a millwright worker. He was Baptist by faith and attended the Sale St. Baptist Church in

Lake Charles. He is survived by his wife, Kellie Shumans of Lake

Charles, LA; one son, Traven Shumans of Lake Charles, LA; four daughters, Kiley, Kenzie, Christine, and Ariella Shumans, all of Lake Charles, LA; one brother, Dakota Shumans of Hazlehurst; mother, Kelly Boyett of Mount Vernon; father, Conway Shumans of Hazlehurst; and his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Sanders of Waynesville.

Funeral Services for Mr. Draven Trey Shumans were held Thursday, August 27, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel with Reverend Reece Mincey officiating.

Interment followed at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

The family received friends for visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
