Mr. J.C. Allen

Mr. John Carl “J.C.” Allen, age 79 of East Dublin, died on Friday , September 25, 2020, at the Jenkins County Medical Center in Millen.

Mr. Allen was born in Rockledge. He lived in Toombs County before moving back to the area in the mid 1980s. He worked at Georgia Plywood and was an onsite Property Manager of a trailer park in East Dublin. He was a longtime member of the Tweed Chapel in Rockledge. He was preceded in death by his parents, John B. and Maggie Gillis Allen; 2 brothers, Luther Allen, Ralph Allen; and 1 sister, Cassie Walker.

Survivors include his nieces and nephews, Randy Allen (Diane), East Dublin, Jayson Allen (Deidre), Soperton, Cindy Westfall, Daytona Beach, FL, Donnie Gene Walker, J.B. Walker, and Joan “Homer” Walker, all of Mt. Vernon, and Randall Walker, East Dublin; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Interment was in Blue Springs Cemetery in Rockledge.

Sammons Funeral Home in Soperton was in charge of arrangements.
