Trunk or Treat

Robert Toombs Christian Academy, 628 W. Oglethorpe Ave., Lyons, will hold Trunk or Treat on Thursday, October 29, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be decorated cars, candy, and more. Everyone is invited to participate. For more information, visit www.rtcacrusaders.org.

Food Drive

Tri-County Family Connection is holding a Thanksgiving Food Drive October 15 – November 13. They are accepting canned food and nonperishable items for the elderly in the community. Drop-off locations are Tri-County Family Connection Office (near the gym at MCHS), Treutlen County Senior Center, or Montgomery County Senior Center. One woman lost her life on Friday night after she was hit by a vehicle while crossing U.S. Highway 280 in Vidalia.
