Eighty Years Loved

Eudean James Thompson, born October 28,1940, celebrated her 80th birthday surrounded by family and her lifelong friend, Margie Nobles . The event was held at the Durden Cabin at Partin Park 10/24/20 in Lyons. Eudean graduated high school in 1959 from Lyons High School. She worked as a sewing machine operator for 37 years. She is the daughter of Henry and Eulis James. She had four brothers (Hansel, EL, Corbet, and Billy) and one sister, (Faye). She married June 4th, 1960 to Horace (Bug) Thompson (deceased 3/2/2001). She has fourchildren; Louie,(marriedtoWanda) Avery, Brenda,andLouise(Charlotte,NC).Shehas5grandchildren; Brandon Salter, Marie Matkins , April Smith, James Thompson, and Shannon (PJ ) Zielke, Jr . She has 5 great-grandchildren-Louie Shane Matkins , Blaine Salter, Jerry Smith , Jr, Alanis and Sophia Thompson. She is an avid reader and enjoys word puzzles and tv Western shows.
