Busy Week For The Vikings

The Vikings of Treutlen County High School played three pairs of basketball games last week, and then the boys added one more on Saturday. On Tuesday they won a pair of games over Johnson County, but dropped two to Dublin on Wednesday. On Friday Telfair defeated the Vikings in two games, and on Saturday the boys lost to Montgomery County. On Monday of this week the Vikings faced Dooly County.

Treutlen vs. Johnson

In the Johnson County games the Lady Vikings picked up the win, 43-38. The boys also won a close game over Johnson. They won by the score of 50-47.

Treutlen vs. Dublin

Against the Irish the Vikings had a tough day as the girls lost their game 45-23. The boys fell in their contest 75-45.

Treutlen vs. Telfair

On Friday the Vikings took on the Trojans and lost both games. The girls lost their game 57-23, while the boys dropped theirs, 61-46.

Treutlen vs. Montgomery

The final game of the week for the boys was against rival Montgomery. The Vikings gave the Eagles a good fight, but came up just short as they lost 59-56.

Treutlen vs. Dooly

The girls lost their game against the Lady Bobcats on Monday of this week, 47-17. The boys also were defeated by the Bobcats; they lost their game 61-43. On Tuesday the Vikings were at Hawkinsville after presstime. They will be at Wheeler County on Friday at 6:00 p.m., and on Saturday they will host Wilcox County at 6:00 p.m.
