Indians Win In Overtime

The Indians basketball teams of Vidalia High School had their only scheduled games against Jeff Davis last week cancelled due to the Yellow Jackets being in quarantine. This week on Monday the Indians hosted the Raiders of Bacon County, splitting their games. The Lady Indians picked up the win going away, defeating the Lady Raiders 55-33. The boys were nearly upset, but pulled out a win in overtime over the Raiders, 47-42.

On Tuesday of this week the Indians took the short trip to Lyons to face rival Toombs County after presstime. VHS will be back in action on Friday in Alma at Bacon County at 6:00 p.m., and will host the Falcons of East Laurens on Saturday at 4:00 p.m.
