Lyons Rec Holding Spring Signups

The Lyons Recreation Department is now holding signups for their spring baseball, softball, and Teeball seasons. Signups began on Monday, January 25, and will continue through February 6. Signups will be at the office at Partin Park which is open Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. On Saturday, February 6, the office will be open from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The cost of registration is $45 per participant. Late registration is from February 7-12 and the fee at that time will be $55. Online registration is available and can be done at www.lyonsga. org/RecreationDepartment. aspx, then click on “Register for a recreation sport or activity” to log-in with your username and password. You may call the office if you are having difficulties logging into your account. Online registrants, please call the office for evaluation night time.

The age divisions are 4 year old, 5-6 year old, 7-8 year old, 9-10 year old, 11-12 year old, and 13-14 year old. The age control date is September 1, 2021.

Evaluations will be held February 16, 18, 19. Details will be in the parent information packet.

There will be a mandatory meeting for all prospective coaches on Tuesday, February 9, at 6:00 p.m. in the Callaway Center at Partin Park. Come by the office or call at 912-526-3084 to let the office know you would like to coach.

Opening day will be on March 20.
