January 26, 2021, at his residence. Mr. Hunt was a native of Toombs County. He was a stone cutter. Survivors include his mother, Victoria Hunt, Lyons; 5 sisters, Sheila Hunt, Janet (Edward) Denmark, Vera Rock, Leslie Hunt, and Fannie Mae Knight, all of Lyons; 2 brothers, Johnny Hunt and Sammy Hunt, both of Lyons; 2 aunts, Calvanna Burley and Eva Lee Stokes; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service was held on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., in Greater Rocky Creek Cemetery in Lyons.
