RTCA Swims At State RTCA Swims At State

Robert Toombs Christian Academy’s swim team competed at the GISA State Meet on Saturday of last week. The competition was held at Georgia Tech’s McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta. Autumn Moore, 7th grade, earned a bronze medal in the 50-meter freestyle and the 50-meter breaststroke, and placed 6th in the 50-meter butterfly. Moore also achieved a personal record in the 50-meter freestyle and the 50-meter breaststroke.

Sixth-grader Maggie Bowers competed in the 50-meter backstroke and improved her qualifying time by almost a second.

The Swim Team is coached by Amy Bowers.
