RTCA Runs At Bulloch

Robert Toombs Christian Academy's track team competed at the Gator Relays last Wednesday at Bulloch Academy.

The Crusaders had three athletes take first place in their events. Trey Brant took 1st in the pole vault, Mary-Claire Wolfe also finished 1st in the pole vault, and Kylie Acosta was 1st in the 100m dash. The girls team finished in 4th place in the meet while the boys took 6th.

Girls

Acosta also finished in 2nd place in the 200m dash and she was 5th in the triple jump. Nicole Acosta was 3rd in the 100m hurdles and was 8th in the 400m dash, and Raliee Thomas was 3rd in the shot put. Wolfe also finished in fourth place in the 100m hurdles.

Emmie Davis was 5th in the high jump and was 7th in the triple jump, Ellie Graham was 6th in both the 100m and 200m dashes, Maddie Joyner was 6th in the 1,600m run, Rachel Threlkeld was 6th in the 300m hurdles and in the pole vault. Meredith Durden was 7th in the 1,600m run, Ansley Akins finished 7th in the high jump, and Evi White took 8th in the 3,200m run.

The 4x100m relay team of Graham, Nicole Acosta, Kylie Acosta and Wolfe came in 3rd place while the team of Williams, Threlkeld, Akins, and Thomas was 7th. The 4x400m relay team of Graham Wolfe, Acosta, and Davis finished in 2nd place while the team of Acosta, Threlkeld, Akins, and Williams was 6th.

Boys

Along with Brant's 1st place, Hunter Ennis took 2nd in the 200m, Drew Vaughn was 4th in the 1,600m run, and Jashaun Powell was 4th in the triple jump and was 5th in the long jump. Tyler Buggs took 7th in the shot put, Andrew Tuck was 7th in the 1,600m and Justin Johnson was 8th in the 300m hurdles.
