Mr. Bruce Reeves

Mr. Bruce M. Reeves, age 67, of Vidalia, died on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, in Meadows Health in Vidalia after an extended illness.

Mr. Reeves was a native of Daytona Beach, FL, lived in Springfield, TN, for many years before moving to Vidalia in 1999. He worked as a cook in restaurants, and before his illness, worked for Frigidaire in Springfield. He was Baptist by faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Junior Reeves and Barbara Loretta Futch Reeves; and 2 brothers, James Allen Reeves and Melvin Dean McCoy. Survivors include 6 siblings, Deborah Edge of Vidalia, David Anderson and wife Carrie of Lyons, Elizabeth Ahl of Alma, Christina McCoy of Vidalia, Billy McCoy of Vidalia, and Jessie McCoy and wife Nita of Lyons; and several nieces and nephews, including a niece, Misty Bird of Vidalia. A memorial service was held on Friday, April 9, 2021, at 12:30 p.m., at the funeral home.
