Lady Indians Tie Coffee
On Tuesday of last week the Vidalia High School Indians soccer teams wrapped up the regular season as they were in Douglas at Coffee County. The girls also played Dublin on Friday of last week.
Girls vs. Coffee
In the girls game Coffee took the halftime lead with two first half goals. In the second half of the game the Lady Indians bounced back and scored two goals while keeping Coffee out of the net. That tied the game at 2-2, and as a nonregion contest the game was stopped as a tie.
Boys vs. Coffee
In the boys game Timothy Corbin picked up the only goal of the game for the Indians as they fell to Coffee 4-1.
Girls vs. Dublin
The girls played one final game on Friday against the Irish of Dublin. VHS fell in the game 1- 0.
The Lady Indians did not make the playoffs and finished the season with a record of 6-10-1. The boys are 7-9 and are moving on to the first round of the playoffs this Friday where they will travel to take on Lamar County, who comes into the game with a record of 10-3.
