MCHS Girls Split Games

The Montgomery County High School soccer teams played a couple of games last week as they wrapped up the regular season. The girls lost to Dublin, but bounced back with a win over McIntosh County Academy.

Girls vs. Treutlen

In the girls game against the Lady Vikings both teams picked up a goal in the first half of the game to send it to halftime tied at 1-1. In the second half of the game the Lady Vikings added one more goal to take a 2-1 lead and then held off the Lady Eagles to get the win.

Girls vs. MCA

Against McIntosh County Academy on Friday at home the Lady Eagles picked up a win to close out their season. MCHS scored two goals in the first half of the game to hold the 2-0 lead at the half. In the second half each team added a goal with the Eagles taking the win, 3-1. The boys played this week in the first round of the playoffs on Tuesday after presstime.
