RTCA Hosts “An Evening With the Arts”

Robert Toombs Christian Academy hosted 'An Evening with the Arts' on April 15, 2021, in the RTCA gymnasium. The event spotlighted artwork from students in elementary and middle school. The Crusader Spirit Band performed their Spring Concert, featuring songs from various movie hits. The Crusader Bucket Drummers entertained the audience with two crowd-pleasing songs. There was also a Talent Show that evening, where several students showed off their talents. Mandy Johnson (7th grade) and Reba Salter (4th grade) tied for the People's Choice Award. 'I think the evening was a great success! The band did a great job performing their Spring Concert. The Bucket Drummers were a hit performing the ‘Cha-Cha Slide’ and ‘YMCA.’ The students who participated in the Talent Show did a fantastic job. That takes a lot of courage to perform in front of your peers,' states Carrie Anne Kennedy, Elementary Music and Art teacher.
