TCHS Soccer 2nd In Region
The Toombs County High School soccer teams fell in two rough games last week to Bradwell Institute.
The girls lost their game 10-0 to Bradwell, but the boys played a solid game against the Tigers and lost by just one goal. Toombs held the lead at halftime as they were on top 1-0. In the second half of the game though the Tigers scored three goals and held the Bulldogs to just one as Toombs lost 3- 2.
Carlos Sanchez and Julian Marin-Vital each had a goal for Toombs.
But with the end of the regular season the Lady Bulldogs and Bulldogs teams finished as Region Runner- up, and will be moving on to the State Playoffs. This Thursday in The Pit the Lady Bulldogs will host Dodge County at 5:30 p.m. and the boys game will follow with the Bulldogs hosting Washington County.
