Mr. William Randall Nobles, Sr., age 68, of Soperton, died on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Memorial

Hospital in Savannah. Mr. Nobles was born in Savannah and grew up in Savannah and Vidalia, where he graduated from high school. He worked as a meat cutter in Lyons for many years and for Graham Brothers Construction in East Dublin from the early 1990s until he retired. He was a member of Soperton First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Leonard and Annie Pearl Williamson Nobles; his wife, Reba Calhoun Nobles; and 1 brother, Tony Nobles.

Survivors include 1 son, William Randall “Randy” Nobles, Jr., (Melissa), Vidalia; 1 sister, Linda Quigley (Mark), Vidalia; his former wife, Martha Ann Hopkins Nobles, Cairo; other family members, Denise Pournelle (John), Soperton, Larry Calhoun, Swainsboro, Debbie C. Ware, Swainsboro; 1 nephew, Brett Quigley; and 9 grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, May 7, 2021, at 3:00 p.m., in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home. Interment followed in Westview Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Brett Quigley, Jeffery Nobles, Justin Nobles, John Quigley, Shawn Swain and Jonathan Smith.

Sammons Funeral Home in Soperton was in charge of arrangements.
