One Killed, Three Hurt In Wreck Near Petross

A two-vehicle collision at Georgia Highways 130 and 135 near Petross claimed a life and injured three others, Montgomery County Sheriff Doug Maybin confirmed Monday.

The name of the deceased, reportedly a teenager, has not been released pending the completion of an investigation by the Georgia State Patrol, said Laurie Holland, Montgomery County Coroner. The names of the three people injured in the wreck were also not released. Maybin said two of those injured, a male and a female, were riding in the same car as the deceased male. A third male was driving the pickup truck involved in the collision.
