Mr. Ronny Moss

Mr. Ronny Moss, age 79, of Lyons, died on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at his home after an extended illness.

Mr. Moss was a native of Telfair County and lived in Toombs County most of his life. He was a 1961 graduate of Vidalia High School, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business in Jacksonville, FL. He was a projectionist at the Brice Cinema in Vidalia, was Corporate Sales Manager for Reynolds Fasteners for many years, and more recently worked with Phillips Pharmacy in Vidalia. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Vidalia and the Men’s Bible Class, and he attended Vidalia Church of God. He was preceded in death by 1 son, Ronald Shane Moss; his parents, Clyde Elza Moss and Eva Mae Harville Moss; and 1 brother, Davy Moss. Survivors include 7 children, Ronda Moss of Winder, Craig Moss and wife Jen of Loganville, Randy Moss of Suwanee, Alan Moss and wife Rebekah of Seattle, WA, Brian Mahaffey of Fayetteville, Danielle Moss and fiancé James Jones, Jr., and Samantha Sellers and husband James, all of Vidalia; 1 sister, Barbara “Jo” Miller of Lyons; 8 grandchildren, Susannah, Ava Rose, Ethan, Lilly, Herschel, Mia, Aleister, and Parker; and 3 nieces.

A graveside funeral service was held on Friday, May 14, 2021, at 4:00 p.m., at Snow Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. David Blalock officiating. Pallbearers were Larry Stephens, Rodney Mc-Glohron, Michael Meeks, James Jones, Jr., and Bryan Seabury.
