Mrs. Susie Graham
Mrs. Susan Marie “Susie” Graham, age 63, of the Zaidee Community of Soperton, died on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at her home surrounded by family and friends. Mrs. Graham was born in Douglas and lived in the Soperton area for most of her life. She worked at the Soperton Shirt Factory for a short time and ran an inhome child care for several years. She was a member of the Norristown Revival Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Clarence “W.C.” Sellers and Katie Pearl Durden Sellers; her husband, Sammy Graham; siblings, Earl Sellers, Dinky Sellers, Skeeter Sellers, Red Bone Sellers, Babe Sellers, Eloise Wingard, Annette Hester, Martha Wilhite, and Linda Johnson; and 1 granddaughter, Jacie Graham. Survivors include 2 children, Heather Brooks (Ronnie), Soperton, and Sammy Graham (Mandi), Ailey; 3 sisters, Doodle Thigpen (James), Rosie Durden, and Dorothy Sumner, all of Soperton; grandchildren, Kyleigh Brooks, Sara Brooks, Dylon Graham (Caitlee Williams), Payton Graham, Miles Quintero, Tyler Quintero, and Mikayla Quintero; great grandchildren, Brooklyn Foster and Britayn Quintero; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home, with Pastor Jack Stafford officiating. Interment followed in Midway Cemetery. Sammons Funeral Home in Soperton was in charge of arrangements.
