Quotes for our Times:
Black Americans for a Better Future Education Fund: Black leaders, business owners call out Stacey Abrams and demand dialogue with corporate America about the diversity of opinions in the Black community.
'Black people aren't stupid, but Stacey Abrams treats us like we are when she suggests that we aren't even capable of obtaining a photo ID,' said Dr. Lisa Babbage of the Georgia Black Republican Council. 'Frankly, it's insulting that corporate leaders were so willing to go along with her narrative of Black helplessness, and it's patronizing that they thought they were advancing the interest of Black voters by opposing this common-sense effort to ensure free and fair elections for all Georgians.'
Varun Hukeri, General Assignment and Analysis Reporter for Daily Caller: Black leaders, entrepreneurs slam Stacey Abrams over Georgia boycott.
“Stacey Abrams doesn’t speak for the black community; she speaks for the white liberals who bankroll her political ambitions,” said Raynard Jackson, chairman of the Black Americans for a Better Future Education Fund. “Stacey Abrams doesn’t actually care about making it easier for black people to vote; she only cares about making it easier for Democrats to vote.”
Katie Pavlich, Editor of Townhall.com:
Biden's Energy Secretary just admitted a key fact about pipelines.
'Can you tell us what is the feasibility of using rail cars to transport fuel into the affected areas? I know that's being looked at,' a reporter asked.
'The DOT [Department of Transportation] is looking at that, and so we'll have to wait until their analysis is done. There are not easy solutions because there may or may not be the right rail cars, there may not or may not be the deep-water ports available for the Jones Act to be able to respond,' Granholm responded. 'So this particular area of the country there, this is why we have doubled down on ensuring that there's an ability to truck oil in, gas in. But it's, the pipe is the best way to go. And so that's why, hopefully, this company, Colonial, will, in fact, be able to restore operations by the end of the week as they have said.'
Tim Graham, executive editor of News-Busters and director of media analysis for the Media Research Center: Team Biden's rigid control of the press.
Naturally, this rigid control of the press is followed by admiration. [David] Axelrod told [ New York Magazine writer Olivia] Nuzzi what the Biden team has accomplished: 'They've effectively maximized his earnestness and decency. They've not allowed him to be in situations where he can stray.' They've minimized Biden's press conferences, even though those media interrogators tell him how moral and decent he is.
This underlines that some of this control doesn't need to be enforced. As one alleged Biden insider told Nuzzi, 'Biden is the most liberal president we've had — and the public thinks he's a moderate.' That ideological distortion comes naturally to liberal reporters.
