Team Vidalia of Vidalia Gymnastics and Cheer is made up of local competitive gymnasts who train year-round and compete throughout the southeast United States. The team competed this March in their final meet before State at the Annual Stick It Invitational in Atlanta.

Team Vidalia competing gymnasts and results on Vault / Bars / Beam / Floor / All-Around were: AAU LEVEL 2: Ellie Grace Wall (9.20 / 9.40 / 9.30 / 9.525 / 37.425); Annison Hightower (9.25 / 8.90 / 8.925 / 9.40 / 36.475); Maycee Guin (9.25 / 9.10 / 8.90 / 9.075 / 36.325); Calleigh Bell (8.75 / 9.05 / 9.20 / 8.975 / 35.975); and Ansley Williams (8.80 / 8.75 / 8.825 / 9.175 / 35.55). AAU LEVEL 3: Katie Lee Brodnax (9.15 / 8.55 / 8.825 / 9.00 / 35.525) and Chloe Beck (9.175 / 8.35 / 8.75 / 8.925 / 35.20). AAU LEVEL 4: Teagan Allen (9.375 / 8.80 / 9.05 / 9.375 / 36.60); Zoey Fields (9.45 / 8.35 / 8.20 / 8.55 / 34.55) and Gabby Betsill (8.75 / 7.70 / 8.50 / 8.90 / 33.85). And AAU LEVEL 5: Maggie Mitchell (9.40 / 8.40 / 8.90 / 8.90 / 35.60) and Lynzie Dasher (9.25 / 7.60 / 8.775 / 8.95 / 34.575). Team Vidalia’s AAU Level 2, Level 3, Level 4 and Level 5 Teams brought home the first place team banner.

“Traveling to Stick It Gymnastics is a reunion and always a treat as it is owned by former Team Vidalia coaches, Sergey and Marina Ishkov. They are former elite level competitive gymnasts from Russia who coached with VGC for over 9 years,” said Coach and Gym Owner, Robin Nance.

Coach Courtney Allen added, “Seeing our gymnasts compete in front of my former coaches makes me nervous and proud. I have so much respect for them and I’m grateful for all the childhood memories they are a part of.”

The gymnasts of Team Vidalia took a clean sweep in the Team Division bringing home the Gold Trophy. The gymnasts will continue to train and compete is several other competitions throughout the state, qualifying and preparing for the upcoming Georgia AAU State and National Championships.
