TCHS Players All-Region
The Toombs County High School Bulldogs baseball team had several players named to the Region 2AA All-Region Team. In a very good Region that saw Toombs make it to the playoffs, along with Vidalia into the Elite 8 and the Yellow Jackets of Jeff Davis winning the State Championship in AA.
Even with such a tough Region, the Bulldogs had three players named to the All-Region First Team, with four more on the Second Team. For the First Team All-Region Jason Dukes was named as catcher, Chase Musselman was named as a utility player and Chandler Lynn earned his spot in the outfield. Second Team honorees were Logan Knight and Brantley Upshaw at pitcher, Trey Harris at third base, and Gray Stephens as the designated hitter. The Bulldogs had an overall record of 16-13 on the year and fought back at the end of the season to earn the #4 seed heading to the State Playoffs.
