Mr. Willie Sanford

Mr. Willie “Jack” Delacey Sanford of Vidalia died on June 2, 2021, at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia.

Mr. Sanford was a native of Toombs County. He was employed in the construction business.

Survivors include his friend/former wife, Nellie Faye Sanford; 3 children, Dwight (Aysegul) Sanford, Deborah Sanford, and Lorraine Sanford; 1 sister, Annie Carolyn Dixon, Augusta; 2 brothers, Thomas Sanford, Cleveland, OH, and Charles Sanford, Vidalia; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., in Poplar Springs Cemetery in Vidalia.
