Davidson Hired As Brewton-Parker Men’s Golf Coach

Vice President of Athletics Chris Dooley has announced the hiring of Dr. Mark Davidson as the next head coach for the Brewton-Parker College men’s golf program. Dr. Davidson joins Brewton-Parker after previously serving as superintendent of schools in Wheeler County and is currently interim superintendent in Montgomery County.

He has a wide variety of coaching experience in baseball, football, and golf. Coach Davidson has previously served at BPC as the interim women’s golf coach back in 2012. Davidson expressed his excitement about the position stating, “I am very honored and excited about coaching at BPC, and I look forward to the fellowship with the players and staff members.”

“We are excited to welcome Mark back to Brewton-Parker College,” Dooley said. “Mark served as interim golf coach several years ago.”

“Our golfers were already very familiar with Mark as they would see him playing locally on the course throughout the year,” Dooley added. “Mark is very committed to our mission of seeing our student-athletes transformed spiritually, academically, and athletically.”

Coach Davidson attended Brewton- Parker College, Georgia College and State University, the University of Southern Mississippi, and Andersonville Theological Seminary. Davidson is married to Rhonda Davidson. They have three children, Lauri Anna, Riley, and Bo.
