DOT Announces Area Road Work Delays
The Georgia Department of Transportation has announced the following area road projects scheduled for June 26-July 2, which are expected to cause traffic delays.
State Route 4/U.S. Highway 1 Over Altamaha River/Appling-Toombs Counties West River Road (Appling County) to Bob Cato Road (Toombs County), daily lane closures for bridge construction activities, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
State Route 4/U.S. Highway 1 Over Altamaha River/Appling-Toombs Counties Intersection of U.S. Highway 1 at State Route 147, daily lane closures, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., for roadway/ pipe construction.
U.S. Highway 280/State Route 30/Montgomery County South of State Route 15 (Higgston) to East of Ailey, lane closures for asphalt resurfacing, daily, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
