SSAC Recognizes BPC Soccer
The Brewton-Parker women’s soccer program was recognized in the 2020-21 Southern States Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Season Recap, the SSAC released on Thursday afternoon.
The season recap looks back to highlights from the 2020-21 season, which includes two historic moments for the Barons. Brewton-Parker captured the program’s first postseason win since 1999 with the 3-2 victory over the Rams in the SSAC Tournament Quarterfinals. In the match, Jaryn Paley tallied two goals while Katelyn Ladner notched one.
Last season, Brewton- Parker earned seven SSAC Barnes & Noble College All-Academic Team selections, four SSAC player of the week honors, one First-Team All-SSAC honor, one Second-Team All-SSAC honor, two SSAC All-Freshman Team selections, and a Champions of Character Team honor. The Barons finished the season 9-9-1 and 2-4 against conference opponents.
