Mr. Carlton “CP” Palmer died on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Catholic Hospice in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Mr. Palmer was predeceased by his father, Laborn Palmer; his mother, Merle Humphrey; 2 sisters, Frankie Sue Glaze and Evelyn Brickle; and 1 brother, SR Palmer. Survivors include his wife, Sue Palmer; 1 son, Labron Palmer and wife Trisha; 1 granddaughter, Deanna Palmer; 2 brothers, Paul Palmer and wife Shelby and Larry Palmer; and 1 sister, Joyce Prescott.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at Pinecrest Cemetery in Vidalia, with Pastor BL Horne officiating.
