Mrs. Marcia L. Carroll, ….

Mrs. Marcia L. Carroll, age 68, of Vidalia, died on Friday, July 23, 2021, at Emanuel Medical Center Nursing Home in Swainsboro, after an extended illness.

Mrs. Carroll was a native of Vidalia and a 1971 graduate of Vidalia High School. She lived in Vidalia most of her life, moving to Douglas in 1989, and she lived in Glenwood for several years. She was Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.B. Carroll and Maudie Cannady Carroll Womack; and 1 brother, Bobby G. Carroll.

Her family includes 2 daughters, Michelle Morris of Columbia, SC, and Mandy Douglas and husband Michael of the Norristown Community; 3 grandchildren, Kelsey Kight and husband Brandon of Lyons, Nathan Jewell and Courtney Douglas, both of Norristown; 3 great-grandchildren, Carter Kight, Aaron Smith, and Kayman Jewell; 3 brothers, Danny Carroll, Jerry Carroll, and Davey Hutcheson, all of Vidalia; 1 sister, Sandy Ott and husband Terry of Douglas; several nieces and nephews; and a grandpup, Izzy.

A memorial service was held on Monday, July 26, 2021, 3:00 p.m., in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home, with Rev. Ronny Saxon officiating.
