Ms. Dorothy Gene Hurst of Vidalia died on Wednesday, July 21, 2021,at Ogeechee Hospice in Statesboro.

Ms. Hurst was a homemaker.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Annie Hayes, Savannah, and Vera Hurst, Atlanta; 1 son, Floyd Hurst, Vidalia; 3 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
