Lyons Lions Club Solicits Nominations For 2021 Citizen of the Year Award

The Lyons Lions Club is soliciting nominations from the public for the 2021 Citizen of the Year Award. This award, sponsored annually by the Lyons Lions Club, honors an individual who has had a positive impact on the quality of life in the city of Lyons and whose contributions can be recognized and held up as a model for others to emulate. The nominee’s contributions over the years should have enhanced the lives of their fellow citizens and made the Lyons community a better place in which to live. Applications are available at the following locations; Ameris Bank in Lyons, City Hall in Lyons, Gordy Enterprises, Peoples Bank in Lyons, and Lyons Better Hometown office. The nomination form should be postmarked on or before September 1, 2021.

The Citizen of the Year Banquet will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. in the Callaway Center at Partin Park in Lyons.
