Fourth Annual Back to School Bash Fun for All

The Fourth Annual Back to School Bash held at Southeastern Technical College on August 7 brought out about 300 kids and their parents to pick up free book bags and school supplies and to enjoy a variety of activities.

Some 20 vendors, including businesses, schools, civic clubs and a local church, handed out free refreshments and other goodies and conducted activities. The event was organized by the Toombs County Family Connection, Paige Williamson, Director.

Sponsors were Kailey Dees, State Farm; City of Vidalia; United Way of Toombs/ Montgomery/ Wheeler counties; Rotary Vidalia; Mary’s/M Squared Design Firm; Terry’s Contract Flooring; Bargain Bucket; East Georgia Healthcare Center; Mike Manning, State Farm; and Georgia Pine Straw. Back to School Bash raffle sponsors were Toombs- Montgomery EMS; Chick-fil-A Vidalia; Peppy’s; The Pal Theatre; The Zen Den Yoga Studio; and Appearances Beauty Med Spa.
