Wheeler Drops Two

The Wheeler County High School softball team dropped two games last week. They fell to Telfair County on Tuesday at home, and lost to Wilcox County in Rochelle on Thursday.

It was all Lady Trojans as Wheeler hosted Telfair on Tuesday. Telfair jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning and were on top 8-1 after the second inning. Telfair added one run in each of the next three innings as they took the win, 11-1, in five innings.

vs. Wilcox Against Wilcox, the Lady Bulldogs fell by eight runs. Wilcox got the win over Wheeler by the score of 10-2. This week Wheeler faced Johnson County on Tuesday after presstime, and won't be back in action till next Tuesday when they head to Montgomery County at 5:00 p.m.
