Mr. Bob Steransky, age 73, ….
Mr. Bob Steransky, age 73, of the Blue Ridge Community, died on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Memorial Health in Savannah after a brief battle with Covid. Mr. Steransky was a native of Wilkes-Barre, PA, and lived there until he moved to Tampa, FL, in the early 1970s. He worked with Florida Steel for 21 years until he moved to the Blue Ridge Community in 1992, where he founded “Mr. Bob’s Painting and Carpentry.” He attended East Gordon Street Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Steransky and Mary Reback Steransky. His family includes his wife, Kathy Jarriel Steransky of the Blue Ridge Community; 2 daughters, Tammy Dee Steransky Brusie and husband Howard of Woodstock and Nikki Lynn Steransky Mingledorff and husband Brian of Acworth; 4 brothers, Jack Steransky and wife Paula of Louisiana, Mike Steransky and wife Deb of Muncy, PA, Ronnie Steransky of Ocala, FL, and Eugene Steransky and wife Michelle of Inkerman, PA; and 2 grandchildren, Ryan and Andrew Brusie. The funeral service was held on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at East Gordon Street Baptist Church, with Pastor Bruce Conner and Pastor Irvin Murphy officiating.
Pallbearers were Ryan Brusie, Andrew Brusie, Michael Edenfield, Gideon Edenfield, and Jason Edenfield.
Honorary pallbearers were Calvin Jarriel, Ronnie Graham, John Morris, Buddy Paradice, T.J. Sager, Gary Bryant, and John Fulford.
