Classic Cars to Be on Display

On Friday morning, October 8, classic cars will be on show at the Real Squeal BBQ and Music Festival as car enthusiasts cruise into downtown Lyons and park the vintage rides along the main street so that festival attendees can visit with the owners and check out their hot rides until they cruise out 9, the Squeal-In Classic Car Show will feature the top 25 models in Ford, GM, Mopar, Motorcycle, and Rat Rods divisions. The event begins with a cruise into Partin Park around 9 a.m. Registration for cars in the event is from 9 until 11 a.m. Judging begins at 11 a.m., and awards will be given at 2 p.m..

Gates open at Partin Park on Saturday at 9 a.m. that afternoon. On Saturday, October Alcohol, coolers, dogs (except for service animals), ATV/motorized vehicles are not allowed in the park. Handicapped parking is available inside the park gates. Personal golf carts will not be allowed downtown or in park; however, festival volunteers will operate golf carts as shuttles from the parking area to Partin Park on Saturday.
