Mrs. Brenda Collins NeSmith, age ….

Mrs. Brenda Collins NeSmith, age 77, of Glenwood, died on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Oxley Health & Rehab in Lyons after an extended illness.

Mrs. NeSmith was born in Collins, raised in Cobbtown, and lived in Glenwood most of her life. She worked at Royden Wear for many years, and more recently, she and her late husband were owners/ operators of Ochwalkee Country Store in Wheeler County for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron C. NeSmith; her father, Monroe Collins; her mother, Vondell Blaxton; and 3 siblings, Patricia Ann Campbell, Durwood Collins, and Donnie Collins.

Her family includes 2 sisters-in-law, Wanda Collins of Johnson Corner, and Barbara Collins of Glenwood; and several nieces and nephews.

The graveside funeral service was held on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at Glenwood City Cemetery, with Rev. W.R. Connell officiating.
