Mrs. Ann “Annie” Ruth Sizemore ….

Mrs. Ann “Annie” Ruth Sizemore McDonald, 87, died on Monday, October 25, 2021, at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia after a brief illness.

Mrs. McDonald was a native of Northfork, WV, and had lived in Ft. Pierce, FL, before moving to Toombs County. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses of Vidalia. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Mitchem. Her family includes 1 son, Michael George Mitchem and wife Patsy of Lyons; 1 daughter, Cecilia Ann “Pedi” Bates and husband Bill of Simpsonville, SC; brothers, Tommy and Harold of Herndon, WV; sisters, Margie Ellen and husband Clifton of Vero Beach, FL, Thelma of Ft. Pierce, and Hazel of Daisy, NC; 7 grandchildren, Matthew, Julie, Melissa, Zachry, Allyson, Buck, and Scooby; and 13 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held on Friday, October 29, 2021, at 3:00 p.m., in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home, with Brother Terry Sizemore officiating. Burial followed at Pinecrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Matt Shaw, Zachry Bates, Buck Bates, J.R. “Scooby” Mitchem, Greg Cooke and Eddie Roberts.
