Mr. C.W. Black of Vidalia died on November 20, 2021, at the Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL.

Mr. Black was a native of Toombs County. He was a bartender at the Vidalia

Club. Survivors include 4 sons, Jeffrey Black, Chris Black, Richard Robinson, and John Williams, all of Vidalia; 2 daughters, Cheri Williams and Pattie Bell, both of Wake Forest, NC; 4 sisters, Gladys Walker, Detroit, MI, Hazel McKever, Jacksonville, FL, Margaret Bryant, Columbia, SC, and Edith Black, Edison, NJ; 3 brothers, James Chester, Perry, FL, Sherwin Chester, Jacksonville, FL, and O.C. Chester, Vidalia; and many grandchildren. A graveside funeral service was held on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., in McRae Cemetery in Mt. Vernon.
