65th Anniversary

Mr. & Mrs. T.C. Wilkes celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on December 4 with family and friends at the Durden Cabin in Partin Park in Lyons. The couple were married on December 8, 1956, at Ohoopee Baptist Church. During their marriage, they have traveled to various places, as T.C. proudly served his country in the Navy and Air Force. Upon retiring from the Air Force, they returned to live and work in Toombs County.

Two Injured as Trucks Collide at Intersection

Two men were injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Georgia Highway 15 and Green Tippett Road on January 24.
