BPC’s Peppers Earns Award

Men's wrestling student- athlete Douglas Peppers of Brewton-Parker College was named the Mid-South Conference Wrestler of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday of last week.

Peppers earns his first career weekly honor after knocking off the No. 1-ranked 174 lb. grappler Asher Eichert in their team dual at Life University in Marietta the prior Wednesday.

During the dual, Peppers earned the Barons’ first points of the night with a pin early in the second period against the NAIA’s top-ranked grappler at the 174 lb. class. So far this season Peppers has notched an 8-4 overall record while currently holding a 1-0 dual record.
