Mr. John E. Galbreath, Jr. ….
Mr. John E. Galbreath, Jr. age 40, of the Cedar Crossing Community, died on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Memorial Health in Savannah after a brief illness.
Mr. Galbreath lived in Toombs, Montgomery, and Appling Counties most of his life, and was a 2000 graduate of Montgomery County High School. He worked at Kerrigan’s, Lowes, and Food Lion for many years and was Baptist by faith. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Galbreath. His family includes 1 daughter, Aaubrey Copeland of Lyons; his father, John E. “Buddy” Galbreath, Sr., of the Sharpespur Community; 1 sister, Crystal Galbreath Wiseman and husband Christian of Vidalia; 1 brother, James E. Hester and wife Rachel of Baxley; his fiancé, Janet L. Lee of Cedar Crossing; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was held on Friday, January 21, 2022, at 3:00 p.m., in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home, with Pastor B.L. Horne officiating. Burial followed at the Galbreath Cemetery near Alston.
Pallbearers were Robert Arnold, Ron Frost, Aaron Coleman, Mike Waller, Chris Kicklighter, Ryan O’Neal, Jacob Brantley, and Duncan Parkerson.
