Ms. Marcia Ann Youmans, ….

Ms. Marcia Ann Youmans, age 79, of Lyons, died on Friday, January 21, 2022, at her home after a brief illness. Ms. Youmans was a native of the Sharpespur Community in Montgomery County, a 1961 Honor Graduate of Montgomery County High School and lived in Toombs County most of her life. She worked with Piggy Wiggly for 16 years, Bruno’s, Thriftway as deli manager, and was owner/operator of Youmans Restaurant in Lyons. She was a member of Lyons Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Morris Youmans and Annette Odom Youmans.

Her family includes 1 son, Bill Youmans of Lyons; 1 grandson, Tanner Youmans of Augusta; and several cousins, including Ruby Youmans, Barbara Trull, Charles Youmans and wife Alexis, all of Lyons, and Tommy Youmans of Oak Park. A memorial service will be announced soon.
