Robinson To Play At Savannah State
On Thursday of last week Toombs County High School Bulldog wide receiver Cam Robinson signed his letter of intent to attend Savannah State University to play football for the Tigers. Robinson said, “I am excited and thankful for this opportunity. I want to thank my family for all they have done for me and of course my coaches for helping me get better.”
“I really like Savannah State. I like the coaches there and the facilities, and it really made me feel like I was home. I am ready to get started and play with my teammates at Savannah State.”
TCHS Head Coach Ritchie Marsh stated, “Cam moved over from Metter to Toombs and joined our program. He did what he needed to do to get noticed. Usually as a transfer if they aren't already being recruited, it is tough for them to get noticed in just one year, but he put in the effort and it worked out for him. What Savannah State has done with their program over the past three years is incredible. There are bright things for the future of that program.”
