Javarius Worthen took third place at the State Meet at 138lbs. He dropped his first match by an 8-1 decision and had to fight through the consolations. In the first round of the consos he won by pin, and then in the second round by got a quick pin to keep moving. Worthen won a close 10-8 decision over Jake Kennedy of Lovett in the conso semis, and then in the finals Worthen beat Demonte Flowers of Northeast Macon by pin for third place.

Gabriel Hightower at 126lbs. took sixth place for VHS. He won his first match by pin, but lost in the second round by pin. In the consolations Hightower won his first match by pin, and then took the next match also by pin. But in the consolation semis against Addison Cothern of Bacon County, Hightower lost by pin to end his run with sixth place.

At 152lbs. Chandler Corbett lost his first round match by pin, and then won in the next round by pin. He dropped his second consolation match by pin to end his run. Ronald Pointer at 170lbs. Lost in the first round by pin, and fell in the consolations by pin.

Decarlos Willingham wrestled at 182lbs. He won his first round match by pin, but then lost in the second round by pin. Willingham fell in the consolations by a 7-4 decision to end his tournament. The final VHS wrestler was Tommy Walker at 285lbs. Walker won in the first round by pin, but then fell in the next by a close 2-1 decision. In the consolations he lost to Brock Nobles of Toombs County in an overtime 4-3 decision.
