Quilts of Toombs County and beyond will be featured in a show now through February 26 at the Altama Museum of Art and History, 611 Jackson St., Vidalia.
Gallery hours are Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
A MESMERIZING VIEW - The Alamo Fire Department hosted the city’s annual Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, June 28. The event featured live music, vendors, kids activities, and fireworks. The City of Vidalia will host a similar event at Ronnie A. Dixon City Park on Friday, July 4, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
