JANICE AND HER FAMILY

Janice Marie Lynn’s father was the late James Matthew “Mathie” Lynn, a farmer and carpenter in Tattnall County. Her mother was the late Ruby Juanette Carter Lynn, a devoted farm wife and nurse employed by Candler County Hospital. Mathie and Ruby raised five children: James, Bart, Janice, Barbara (Williams), and Raymond.

Janice attended Collins High School. In 1964, she married Wallace Kennedy Jarriel. They raised three children: David, Renee, and John. Their children blessed Janice and Wallace with two daughters-in-law (Shirley Beach and Carol Thompson), a son-in-law (Ottie Lively), and eight grandchildren they love with all their hearts: Dixie, Rachel, Gracie, Emily, Kate, Lou, Truitt, and Caroline.
