Mrs. Trellis Patrick

Mrs. Trellis Dyal Patrick, age 87, of the Normantown Community, died on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at her home following a brief illness. Mrs. Patrick was born in Coffee County, grew up in Appling and Jeff Davis Counties before moving to Toombs County in 1952. She was a homemaker and was a member of Victory Fellowship – Lyons Church of God of Prophecy. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Patrick, Jr.; 3 children, Roger Patrick, Jerry Patrick, and Janet Patrick Turner; her parents, Leon Otis Dyal and Sally Mae Douglas Dyal; and she was the last of 7 brothers and sisters. Her family includes 5 children, Steve Patrick and wife Sharon of Belton, SC, David “Buddy” Patrick, Dan Patrick, and Sheila Patrick, all of Normantown; and Rhonda Patrick Turner and husband James of Stillmore; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at Victory Fellowship – Lyons Church of God of Prophecy of Lyons with Pastor Mike Poppell officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Jason Patrick, Kevin Patrick, Elijah Patrick, Jeffery Turner, Robert Turner, Kevin Crisco, Levi Patrick, and Daniel Patick. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 2277, Vidalia, GA 30475.
