VHS Tennis Over Falcons

The Vidalia High School tennis teams bounced back on Tuesday against East Laurens after they had fallen to Bacon County on Monday of last week. It was also senior night for the Indians. The Lady Indians won 3-2 and the Boys won 4-1.

Girls

The three wins for the girls team came at 1st Doubles, Emma Beck and Jesslyn Collins (6-3, 6-1), 3rd Singles, Bess Wilcox (6-1, 6-0), and 2nd Doubles, Abby Brantley and Conley Brown (6-2, 6-4).

Boys

For the Boys, 1st Doubles, Sukumar Paidi, and Jameson Rolen won 6-1, 6-1. Canyon Beck at 2nd Singles won 7-5, 6-4. The two other wins came by forfeit.

This win finishes the region's regular season matches for the Indians. This week on Tuesday they took on Toombs County for seeding in the Region Tournament.

They will then take part in the Region Tournament scheduled for April 12 at Jeff Davis High School.
