Mr. Ricky Martin Burkett, age 39, of Vidalia, died on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.

Mr. Burkett was a native of Toombs County, attended Vidalia Comprehensive High School and lived in Vidalia most of his life. He was a pipefitter, working with Saks Plumbing and Heating Corporation and also with Wild Boar Plumbing. His family includes 2 sons, Gabriel L. Burkett of Vidalia and Carson J. Burkett of Rincon; his mother, Cally Brantley Kelley and husband Todd of Soperton; his father, Ricky Burkett of Tarrytown; his maternal grandfather, James Brantley and wife Louise of Vidalia; 2 brothers, Ross L. Burkett of Soperton and Max Burkett of Reidsville; 2 sisters, Carolyn Harden of Vidalia and Whitney Burkett of Reidsville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
