Mrs. Pauline O’dell Aycock of Colquitt died Friday, April 22, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Aycock was of the Methodist Faith and was a retired LPN. She was preceded in death by her husband, James David Aycock, Sr.; 2 sons, James David Aycock, Jr., and Franklin Leroy Aycock, Sr.; 1 daughter, Joy Foushi; and her parents, Clarence and Mae Thompson O’dell.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Martha (Bobby) Widner of Colquitt; 2 daughters-in-law, Jill Aycock of Fort White, FL, and Sheryl Aycock of Charleston, SC; 6 grandchildren, David Fain Hatfield, Mary Leigh (Lee) Harper, Franklin Leroy Aycock, Jr., Raina Elizabeth Widner, Leslie David Widner, and James Anthony (Brianna) Widner; numerous great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at 4:00 p.m., at Smyrna United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Smyrna UMC from 3:00 until just prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Magnolia Manor in Americus, GA, at 2001 S.
