Bremen Defeats Toombs Soccer In Elite 8

The Toombs County High School Bulldogs soccer team saw their season come to an end in the Elite 8 last week. Toombs went up against a tough Bremen Blue Devils team. The Bulldogs finished the season with a record of 13-5-2, a Region Championship, and a trip to the Elite 8.

The Blue Devils did a good job of keeping the Bulldogs out of their zone and kept them off the scoreboard. Bremen scored six goals in the game to pick up the win over Toombs 6-0.

Head Coach Jeremy Moore said, “Not the result we were looking for, but I am still proud of what these young men accomplished this season. It was a wonderful winning season that included a home playoff win. This will go down as one of my most memorable Soccer Seasons.”
